Hello Everyone!

 

Hope all things are going well in your stinking hot worlds... I'm currently sitting in my study and if i had a room thermometor - it would probably be over 40 degrees...! This will be short and sweet.

 

Firstly I'd like to say a big hi there and hello to Amador - love the new track buddy. Feeling VERY privileged. And yes - I'll support the "Buy Alby a new mike fund" so send on the bank details!

 

Well we finally have plans for the house. It's massive!! There's a theatre room, massive twin study, double sided fireplace, gourmet kitchen, two internal staircases, four bedroom plus one guestroom/library, three car garage and alfresco dining. Not to mention the designer pool. Ahhh... Queensland Living! Christmas is at our new house next year so if you're in the neighbourhood.. please drop in for a swim!

 

I sooo can't wait till we start picking tiles and carpets and colours. I think I have the theme done now, but it's still undecided. I'm thinking very earthy and natural tones, lots of oversized square tiles, timber columns, timber staircases, dark colours for the theatre, bold feature walls in deep brown, mustard and green, white-ish cream coloured fabric on the lounges, rugs in same feature colours, bamboo poles in an oversized urn in the entry, water feature out the front running over dark slate tiles... sounding good?

 

And now that the sweat is dripping off my arms and into the keyboard.. it's time to get back out in front of the fan.

 

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas - and also farewell to Jade. I know we didn't make your farewell party today - but we wish you all the best in London. I hope Phil hasn't talked you out of going yet!
