Working 5 days a week certainly has its challenges. At the moment Rebecca (my sidekick) is off on holidays for 2 weeks, and I'm kinda liking it. The kind of "like" where you're so deliriously busy that you think you're enjoying what you do. Until you work an 11 hour day like I did yesterday. I think that alone gave me the kick in the pants I need.

 

So I'm studying C#.. one of the computer techs here at work is studying an IT degree, and suggested I start with VB before I do C#... not many people read this blog so if the few of you who might possibly know about programming know whether I should take the risky move to VB - I'd appreciate the feedback! (at least I think the acronym was VB - don't ask me what it stands for..!)

 

So coming back to my kicked pants... last night I thought I'd study some more C# - seems logical when I need to get out of my current job. So I got home, ate dinner, watched some simpsons and then sat down at my computer. I don't know how, but falling asleep on an uncomfortable computer chair in front of a glary (read angry) little box of a monitor somehow came like second nature.

 

Ahhhhh well.

 

Oh - and while I think of it - Happy Birthday Gracie! Hope you have a fabulous and wonderfully silly day at school. We love you!
